| Your personal, spectacular Fraser Island beach house for a week or more. It nestles on a private 3/4 acre block of paradise looking over tall trees to the Pacific Ocean. Situated about 400 metres from the white sandy beach, it is fully self contained and sleeps a maximum of 10 people in 4 bedrooms. A deposit and a completed Registration Form must be received to confirm your booking. The balance of rent and bond must be received two months before your arrival date, to maintain the booking. Because most of our guests plan and book up to a year in advance we will not usually refund payments without a replacement booking. We are happy to accommodate any change of booking dates where possible. Bookings and payments made through any agents are subject to their refund policy |

For Directions Click here Fraser Island and Orchid Beach are only accessable by 4 wheel drive vehicle, or by air. The Island's only roads are inland sand tracks and the eastern beach. The eastern beach from Hook Point to Sandy Cape is the main highway for the island and driveable only on the hard sand below the high tide line. Always travel on the beach as close as possible to low tide, and not more than 3 hours either side of low tide.From Brisbane drive to Gympie then to Rainbow Beach to refuel and shop for final supplies. From Rainbow Beach drive to Inskip Point beach for a 10 minute barge crossing to Hook Point, on the southern tip of Fraser Island. There is no need to pre- book as a number of barges operate a daylight shuttle service every day.The scenic drive up the eastern beach at low tide will take you to Indian Head and Middle Rocks and get you to Orchid Beach in about l.5 hours Property ID : 1043 |
