For Directions Click here
It takes about 45 mins from the airport.

Follow signs to the City on the Southern Cross Drive, or Highway 1, this should be well signposted. This Southern Cross Drive goes past the Lakes Golf Course then page the Australian Golf course (although you might not be aware you are going past them). Just past the Australian Golf course you get over into the right lane and follow signs for the Eastern Distributor, the road lanes have ED printed on them. You will go through another tunnel then have to pay the ED Toll
which is $4.

As soon as you have paid the toll stay in the right lane and follow signs to the Harbour tunnel (make sure you go into the Harbour tunnel, don't go into the city). At the end of the Harbour tunnel, go into the left lane until you see the next exit which will say Manly. Go up the Manly exit ramp and turn right at the top. This is Military road (Maybe marked Road 10) Follow Military Road through Cremorne and Mosman and over the Spit bridge.

After going over the bridge you go up a hill to a set of lights. Go
straight through these lights (DO NOT TURN RIGHT TO MANLY). You are now an a small bit of expressway called Burnt Bridge Creek Deviation, stay on this road and its name may change to Condamine street for a while then change again to Pittwater Road, but it is all the same main road, you will go through at least 13 sets of traffic lights, some of them very close together.

When you get to Brookvale you will turn tight right into Harbord Road. Take the second left (at the lights Opposite the service station) into Abbott Road. Follow this road along (with a few twists and turns) and it will turn into Pitt Road. At the next set of lights, go straight, take the first right and a very nearby right again. This is Surf Road.
